Built on the Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce Platform, ExtendCredit.com integrated their customer-facing customer financing application via Connect:SM web service APIs to Connect:SM's Core Services Platform for managing products, pricing, accounts, billing, recurring payments, and collections. Connect:SM's data repository and analytics capabilities were used to generate tailored reports for merchant level and program level operations management. Customer support is provided via Connect:SM using a 3rd party call center.

Critical to the success of the program was Connect:SM's robust multi-level billing hierarchy structure. No other solution in the marketplace offered such advanced capabilities to effectively address reporting, pricing, product, processing, invoicing, payment, and access/security hierarchy requirements. ExtendCredit.com needed a single loan origination and servicing platform that could support thousands of individual merchants and hundreds of resellers across the United States. Security and privacy requirements were paramount at all levels from merchants to resellers to ExtendCredit's level.


Voice 2.0 API Aggregator


Helping web developers build exciting new voice enabled applications was only part of the challenge. The API Aggregator needed a way to enable these developers to bill for the usage-driven and flat rate API services. Working with BillWise, the API Aggregator was able to take advantage of Connect:SM's multi-level hierarchy structure to offer it's developer-customers dedicated, secure billing and recurring payment processing environments under their master billing environment that could be co-branded.

By taking the complications of finding the right recurring billing and PCI compliant payment system for the developers that could handle billing both the API Aggregators services and the developers services off the table the API Aggregator was able to build traffic and loyalty to their services.
