Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce provides a 360º view of all current and historical subscription customer activity, and configuration options to segment your customer base to ensure a personalized customer experience. Regardless of customer touch-point, be it the cloud, call center, or in-store, Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce delivers all the information on your customers and products, and enables you to perform the customer care, subscription billing, and recurring payment tasks needed to service the customer without jumping around to different screens or working through complicated workflows.
 

Customer Registration Via the Cloud, Phone, or In Person


Registration can be handled via the cloud, over the phone, or in person using Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce. Cloud-based registrations and order processing can be done using Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce via our web services API or using our screens. Both account and service location based order processing are supported. Abandoned registrations are saved and can be used in re-marketing efforts to convert them into active customers.

Secure Online Customer Self-Care Via Web Service APIs or Quick Start Screens


Online customer self-care enables your customers to register, place and maintain subscription orders, or cancel services, maintain account information, make payments, or inquire about their billing, payment or usage history. This capability is available via Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce provided screens or via the web services API. Customer privacy is maintained at all time through secure sign-in, encryption, and PCI and CPNI compliance.

The online customer self-care capabilities can be branded to support use by individual resellers and is fully integrated with the n-tier account hierarchy structure.

Customer Maintenance Centralized for Rapid Customer Service


All customer information is available from the customer maintenance screen so you do not have to go to multiple screens to find information. Customers can be quickly found using exact match or keyword search. Inquires can be made into all customer related information including current orders and account settings, order and payment transactions, change history, usage, service history, and past communications. New subscription orders can be created, existing orders can be modified or cancelled, and payments accepted from the customer maintenance screen. All types of orders, including service and trouble ticket orders can be accessed and updated.

A powerful memo capability allows CSRs to record any type of information and recall it at a future time. Special capabilities include automatic memos for defined events and the ability to establish triggers for specific items.

360º View of Customer Account Activity Including Recurring Payments and Subscription Plans


Part of the Customer Maintenance screen and API, the accounts section of the customer record provides a single, centralized place to manage all of your customer's subscription account information, including payment terms, credit authorizations, preferred payment methods, payment histories, adjustments, credits, account balances, and payment status. Credit policies can be established globally, by customer type or individual customer.

Subscription renewals can be configured for automated processing. Workflow associated with renewals can be defined globally, by customer type, credit class, or individual customer. Customer defined email notice templates, frequency and scheduling options, and service suspension/cancellation capabilities are all included.

Support for Complex Account Hierarchies for Multi-Level Subscription Plans


Complex recurring billing for multi-level subscription programs and plans such as reseller programs, corporate accounts, partners, and family plans is supported via the optional Connect:SM for Cloud Commerce n-tier account hierarchy structure. Features include data security, custom branding at different levels in the hierarchy, custom billing and pricing based on level, custom usage presentment based on level, CSR support at all levels, and hierarchy support for reporting and analytics.
